"If you are searching for a property in Streatham then look no further. I moved here for the location, to get to Central London but also have a green feel and lots of space with my new home at the time, eight years down the line, I still love where I live. It is a 12 minute walk from Tulse Hill and Streatham Hill stations to get to London Bridge & Victoria in just 18 minutes making the location ideal for commuting to and from work. Brockwell Park, Tooting Common and West Dulwich are all within a 30 minute walk which gives the area a lovely green neighbourhood feel by having access to green expanses from such a quiet residential road.

It was the size of the flat that captured me, massive bedrooms and front room with high ceilings, a separate kitchen (which I prefer to open plan) and two bathrooms which makes it ideal for couples or two single people. The best feature is the newly refurbished West-facing balcony. It overlooks the private landscaped gardens below and gets sunshine all day and evening which makes it perfect for hosting BBQs and dinner parties, there's plenty of room for potting plants which I love to do throughout the four seasons.

There are a plethora of really cool and quirky coffee shops, bars, restaurants and gyms all in equidistance to West Norwood, Tulse Hill & Streatham Hill, a short bus to ride to Clapham & Brixton means there are plenty of local areas for a night out too. If you are a family the local schools are excellent and in walking distance which makes Knollys road a very safe area. It is also very quiet in the evenings even though you are very central, just on the border of Zone 2. I have constantly upgraded since being here, a new electrical fuse board, a new gas hob to name but a few things.

Double glazed windows throughout, a new fireplace, herringbone flooring put down in the hallway last year and a kitchen only a few years old. The building management is ideal with a share of freehold allowing for additional control we opt to use a block management company and we contribute to a sinking fund for upgrades to the building but works really well as we never have any nasty surprises. Recently we have had all new carpets fitted and painting in the common areas with a fire and safety system installed throughout the building".
