The area is well connected, with South Croydon Train Station less than a 10-minute walk away and with services to central London and Gatwick. There are regular bus routes a couple of minutes walk down the road, and the Lloyd Park Tram Stop at the end of the road taking you into East Croydon for even more train connections! There is a great selection of little shops and amenities at South Croydon Parade (a 12-minute walk), which includes pubs, bars, restaurants, a hardware store, a pharmacy, beauticians, and hairdressers. My two favourite places to go for coffee and wine are Bobs Your Uncle, a lovely hipster coffee shop, and the cutest Italian Deli, La Spezia Deli, located on the corner. Both places give a friendly greeting when you arrive, and it will be hard to give up.

Finally, the block has great neighbours; everyone gets on and looks out for one another, taking packages and helping with various bits and pieces. It is hard to find good neighbours, and even rarer to find a whole block of great neighbours who all get along with one another. It will feel like the end of an era, but it’s time to move on."
