Property Summary

*** Vendors Comments *** "Having some green spaces all around is really great, there are plenty of options when it comes to going on a walk or taking the dog or kids to the park. Wimbledon is only a short tram ride away, we've enjoyed great days and evenings out there.

We will also miss our friendly neighbours who are really nice and helpful there's a building Facebook group where we all communicate regularly. Generally, it's been a great first property to live in, and although we are very excited to be moving abroad, we will miss this flat a lot!......"

*** Vendors comments *** "We bought the property as first-time buyers, we'd seen the big development over in Hackbridge prior to viewing this one, and we were quite set on a flat in the Hackbridge development but as soon as we saw this building and the surrounding area, we know we wanted it. We really liked how spacious it felt, the area around the building and the flat itself. Even though it's flat, the rooms are all really spacious, with lots of storage and the big windows allow for lots of natural light, making each room feel even bigger. It's also surrounded by green spaces, which we really enjoy, there are lots of different parks, nature and walking trails within a few minutes in any direction.

The off-street parking was also a factor for us and having that gave us some peace of mind. The property is very conveniently located ten minutes walk away from Mitcham Junction station as well as Hackbridge station, which is great for commuting to work or going out in general.

We are lucky enough to have an opportunity to move abroad for work and so are selling to be able to potentially buy a place in our new home country.

We have lived in the property since 6th April 2020, we were, in fact, the first people to move into the entire building as it was brand new when we bought it and moved in right at the start of the pandemic, which was quite nice in a way as we got lots of time to enjoy and appreciate having our own space.

We bought it new in 2020 everything was white, which it still mostly is except for the 2nd bedroom/office, we painted that green for a bit of colour. We've added tiles to the backsplash of the kitchen as well as an island in the kitchen for some additional storage and workspace.

We live opposite a green, which gives us very nice views out from our living room, bedroom and second bedroom/office windows. There's a pub just on the other side of the green which is really convenient when you fancy a drink, they do great pan Asian food and have a beer garden, perfect when the weather allows! The location of the flat straddles a few different local areas with things to do, it's a ten-minute drive to Colliers Wood, where there's a large shopping complex (supermarkets, retail outlets and restaurants). At the same time, it's a 15 min drive to Purley Way and Valley Park retail centers with all of their outlets. Our gym is a two-minute drive away which is great for us. Hackbridge and Mitcham’s High streets are a short walk/car drive away which is really helpful when you need something quickly or need to get something on the way home from work.

We sit pretty much in between Mitcham Junction and Hackbridge stations, Mitcham Junction is slightly closer but both convenient either way. Mitcham Junction has the advantage of the Tram as well as the train, for quick access to Purley Way, Croydon, Wimbledon and Beckenham. There's also a bus stop right in front of the building and several others on the surrounding roads. Finally, it's an eight-minute train journey from Mitcham Junction to Balham to get to the Northern line, overall, it is very well connected.
