Property Summary

*** Vendor comments *** "I bought my flat as my first home and found it perfect for getting onto the property ladder. As a 2 bedroomed starter home, it was good value for money.

As soon as I walked in it felt like home. The rooms were full of natural light. I liked the fact that I had my own front door with my back door opening out into my rear garden, with the garage at the end of my garden."

*** Vendor comments *** "I bought my flat as my first home and found it perfect for getting onto to the property ladder. As a 2 bedroomed starter home, it was good value for money.

As soon as I walked in it felt like home. The rooms were full of natural light. I liked the fact that I had my own front door with my back door opening out into my rear garden, with the garage at the end of my garden. A bonus was neither my front nor rear garden is shared. There is a sense of privacy within my cosy home and I have enjoyed multiple events in my back garden including holding a wedding reception, birthday parties, exercising and my gardening hobby with great success. There is nothing more satisfying than eating your own harvest, be it runner beans, tomatoes or aubergines.

I lived in the property for 18 years and felt it was time to move on to a slightly larger property to accommodate my lifestyle.

I last decorated the property 5 years ago with neutral colours as it allowed me more flexibility in my decorating choices. No extensions have been made to my flat, but my ground floor flat neighbour, did a kitchen extension years ago so there is the opportunity to do so subject to planning.

The location of the flat is excellent for transportation links with 2 mainline train stations (Streatham Common and Mitcham Eastfields), to central London. Each is just one short bus ride away, with a 20-minute train journey into our nation’s capital from either station. A bonus is the 30-45 minute proximity of Gatwick International Airport, making city breaks and wishfully exotic holiday breaks easy, painless events.

There are good local amenities close by. Within 0.5 miles (approx) the location affords a local post office, three churches, the library, two Harris Academies (primary and secondary schools) and a local GP surgery and dental service obliquely opposite the property.

I have been very happy in my home and enjoyed living there, as I am sure the next owners will too."
