The flat is surprisingly spacious and is just off of Thornton Heath High Street. Thornton Heath has good services to Victoria and London Bridge which is what we both required. It is also quick, convenient and cheap to get to Gatwick.


Croydon is excellent for shopping and IKEA is nearby. We had started to do a refurb but only got as far as the second bedroom and bathroom before our sudden move up to Scotland. We have bought a house up there so there is no chain on the flat. The gated alley is a bonus as is the garden.


We share the freehold with the flat below. They did major renovations and the flat is now rented out. The attic is large and partially boarded with lighting. We use a pull-down ladder to access it".
