***Vendor's comments:*** "When we bought Laud Street in March 2019 our world was very different: this was our first house purchase after years of renting and we had yet to start a family... and of course, we weren't expecting to live through a pandemic. In the years since our house has been a constant source of comfort and stability. It has become a home.

When we first visited the property, we immediately fell in love with it: the sky-blue trestling beside the front windows, the beautiful archways between rooms, the period cornicing and the way the dining room welcomes guests, whilst the living room remains separate. Not to mention the garden, which is such a bonus, being both South-facing and manageable in terms of size. The outhouse is extremely useful for storage (especially as our family grew) but also so promising in terms of what could be developed there, particularly as it is already set up with electricity and lighting.

At the time of our purchase, it was, however, in a bit of a mess and we have spent much of our time combining working from home with improving all those things that needed love and attention: new electrics, new boiler, new front door, new windows, new worktops, painting and decorating.

Since updating the property, the house has become an amazing place to live, filled with light during the day and cosy in the evenings. In the summer, the garden becomes an extension of the house as it is in the sun for most of the day - brilliant for barbecues and hosting friends.

The master and second bedroom are perfectly sized with great built-in storage. The third room has been essential for us as we have family stay regularly; it can fit a double bed and also makes a great home office.

We are located a short walk from all of the main stations in Croydon, as well as having the town centre on our doorstep (shoutout to Ludoquist and Crushed Bean!) and the massive benefit of Purley Way being only a 5-minute drive away.

If our world hadn't changed, we wouldn't be writing these comments! As our family has grown and our working lives changed, we have found ourselves needing to be closer to relatives North of London. We will miss Laud Street terribly, including our wonderful neighbours, who very quickly helped us settle and who we now consider good friends".
