***Landlords comments*** "Growing up in Croydon, Oval Road always had a community aura. The rustic pub with an emphasis on local brews; particularly The Cronx Brewery, along with The Oval Tavern which is just a few minutes walk away.


The flat is a stone throw away from East Croydon’s extensive bus, tram and train stations. Despite my own childhood nostalgia of the old Royal Mail post office on a Saturday morning with Mum, new attractions such as Boxpark and the upgraded communal gardens surrounding the flat have invigorated life into the East Croydon community.


Stepping into the flat for the first time, two words came to mind: stylish and low-maintenance. The huge low maintenance garden drew my attention from each of the two double bedrooms. I think after numerous CV-19 lockdowns, which felt marathon-like at times, I knew that fresh air and privacy should definitely be a priority.


I also thought that like me, anyone moving in would feel at home straight away due to the characterful features such as the genuine wooden floors, jacuzzi bath shower combo and the overall spacious feel throughout the flat.


One of the other key things we loved about this flat is the amount of places that we can go in a short amount of time. Crystal Palace park is a short train ride away as well as the famous ‘Crystal Palace Triangle’ of restaurants and pubs. There are trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Shoreditch - all journeys being less than half an hour. And finally, when it is safe to do so of course, you are 20 minutes door to door from Gatwick Airport, another great plus for those quick city break trips or should you be so lucky, exotic holidays".
