** Vendors comments ** "This was our first step on the property ladder. We wanted to be in a property with green views out every window and a garden for our first home, and this property is the perfect size for a young couple or rental investment. The size of the rooms and the Juliet balcony made us fall in love with the flat, the balcony doors are lovely to have open in the summer.

The property is bright and and airy and has ample storage with built in wardrobe and cupboards as well as the shared under stairs storage outside are also great features. Featuring separate showeroom, kitchen, living room large enough for a dining table and double bedroom large enough for a desk workspace which is great in the current circumstance’s working from home.

We are interior designers and since moving in we have restored and decorated all the rooms in the property to the highest standard and opened up parts of the flat to create the lovely open and light feeling you will get when viewing as well as recently fitting a new fully tiled wet room, gloss white kitchen and designer radiators throughout. Outside space was really important for us. The garden is really sunny and with the recent restrictions, it has become an even more vital component of our home, it is enormous with mature trees perfect for summer bbqs with friends. The back gated garden is only shared with three properties and our neighbours who are lovely hardly use it. There is also an even larger communal garden to the front.

Streatham Hill has such a community feel. Palace Road itself is a lovely green street and all our visitors always comment on how green it is with its beautiful Edwardian mansion houses. There is a friendly TRA that we have loved being part of and made many friends open to all resident’s. We love how close to Hillside park the house is; great for kids and dog walking, there are also four Tennis courts with discounts for locals. Palace Road Nature Garden is also 5 minutes walk away with newts, hedgehogs and other protected British wildlife. You’re also very close to Brixton where there are lovely restaurants, pubs, bars, music venues, boutique shops and the famous Victorian Ritzy cinema!

You’re a 5 minute walk to Tulse Hill train station and you can be in Victoria and London Bridge in 20 minutes. We have loved this home and have some incredible memories here. The local community is also something we’ll miss very much as everyone looks out for each other and there are some great community initiatives led by local people such as the local park gardeners where you can grow your own veg!

After living here for 10 happy years, we are now are looking to relocate to a 3 bedroom house close by."
