Full Details

This was my first step on the property ladder over 10 years ago and I have loved living here ever since. The flat itself is very spacious, with a large reception room for relaxing and entertaining, as well as enough room for home workouts and online yoga classes during lockdown. The master bedroom has built-in storage fitted in the last 3 years to maximise space, with tons of room for clothes and shoe collections, plus a hidden laundry basket space under the counter.

The second bedroom I’m currently using as an office space for working from home. My desk overlooks the garden so it’s a very pleasant light and airy working space, and it used to serve as a very comfortable guest bedroom for visitors.

The kitchen was updated when I moved in and again has lots of room for cooking and preparing food, as well as storing everything you need. I renovated the bathroom just before the first lockdown in February 2020 to include a walk-in shower with waterfall showerhead, which is a lovely treat in the mornings. The main thing I will miss about the flat is the lovely south-facing mature garden, which is frankly massive, and like having your very own park attached to a flat.

I’ve not had one guest in over ten years enter the garden and not ask in astonishment “is this all yours?!”. It’s perfect for barbecues, entertaining and enjoying the sunset in summer, as well as being really peaceful for taking a breather from work, or having dinner outside during the week.

The flat is perfectly positioned between Herne Hill, Dulwich, Brixton and Camberwell, which between them provide everything you need in terms of easy transport links, green space, music, culture, bargain shops, trendy bars, cafes and restaurants, and more coffee shops than you will ever need. I’ve genuinely loved living here, but my boyfriend and I are now moving in together and finding a new place where we can start the next stage of our lives together. I very much hope you’ll be as happy here as I have been!
