Property Summary

*** Vendors comments *** "We really love this home and if it wasn't for work taking us outside of London, we would have easily made this our family home for many more years. It has so much history (evident from the beautiful fruit trees in the garden) but we have also made great efforts in modernising the home while still trying our best to pay homage to its 1920 beginnings. It is very bittersweet for us to be moving on, however it brings us great joy knowing that this home that made us so happy, will be able to do the same for another family....."

*** Vendors comments *** "This was our first home as a family, and we have so many amazing memories here. We spent so much time renovating it to become our perfect starter family home. The first thing we fell in love with was the garden. It is such a great space for the kids (and dogs!) to play, plus it has the added benefit of a garage with rear access and fantastic, mature fruit trees (one pear and two apple). The garage has loads of storage space, room to park a car as well as a separate room where we've installed a cooler. We have used this for wine storage, but it is also a great space for storing anything that might suffer otherwise in extreme temperatures. The fruit trees have given us loads of delicious fruit every summer - perfect for baking, juicing, snacking, and sharing.

Upstairs are two great-sized bedrooms. We easily fit our super-king bed in the master bedroom, which further benefits from wall-to-ceiling wardrobes for great storage. There is also access to the loft which has electricity so again a great plus in terms of extra storage or the opportunity to extend and add in an extra bedroom and bathroom STPP of course.

In the front of the house, we have really benefited from our drop-kerb drive and electric car charging port installed on the property. In addition to having our own parking space at the front of our property and the benefit of space for an additional car in our garage, the street has free parking as well which made it very easy to host guests who drove to visit us.

Commuting into the city is also a snap on public transportation. A bus stop is about a minute’s walk from the house that takes you through Streatham and Brixton. Additionally, Streatham Common Station is about a 15-18 minute walk away. Mitcham Eastfields and Norbury Station are also close by. There is a post office and pharmacy about a 5-minute walk from the property. Mitcham Common is also about a 15-minute walk away, and it is one of the nicest places I've been to walk our dogs. So much natural space including ponds, woodlands and fields.
