Full Details

*** Vendors comments *** "My parents bought this property in 1969. Following my Dad’s death in 1989, my mum decided to emigrate to Canada to reside with my other siblings. We moved back to Fairview Road from Croydon in September 1989, since which time we have been in residence.

We feel our house is very spacious, with my parent in laws also living with us. We decided to increase the capacity and had a full dormer conversion carried out in 1990, which gave us an extra two large bedrooms and another bathroom and toilet on the third floor.

Our son was three when we moved into our home. He attended St Andrew's Catholic Primary School in Streatham and then St Joseph's College in Upper Norwood.

We have a fantastic array and choice of shops, cafes and restaurants on our doorstep which offer a variety of produce from all corners of the world. We are minutes from the A23 London Road with bus links towards central London and Croydon to the south. British Rail zone 3 mainline station is less than a 10-minute walk away with regular trains to London Victoria, London Bridge and connections to East and West Croydon stations and beyond.

As we are now fully retired, we have decided to move out of London and have chosen a new build home in the small market town of Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a very, very different environment from Norbury and London".
