The house’s location, being within walking distance to West and East Croydon Stations, has made commuting to my office in Canary Wharf fast and smooth, with different train options. It is perfect for getting to other parts of London too, including central London. The tram stop nearby is also useful for visits to other parts of South London. Gatwick Airport is also just over a half-hour’s journey.


I will particularly miss the local amenities. I’ve been lucky to have Wandle Park essentially on my doorstep, with Waddon Ponds, Beddington Park, and Farmlands within easy reach. Having a crazy variety of shops within a short walk has been fantastic. And the places around Purley Way have been super useful for furnishing the home.


The property itself has been very cozy and homely to live in and it created an amazing first impression when I viewed it. Each room is a good size and having a separate kitchen and diner is great for entertaining friends and family. It is double-glazed with gas central heating and has been easy to maintain and keep warm during the winter. The garden is south-facing and low-maintenance with a shed providing extra storage space.


I’ve loved living on Westfield Road, having a place on a quiet road within proximity to Croydon’s vast amenities. I’m happy to answer any questions, and wish the next owners all the best to make the most of this home."
